Suite Art Navona (couple trip)

This is a complete scam of a hotel. The room looked like a jail cell or a halfway house. There wasn’t even a real bed, it was a murphy bed, with flat lumpy pillows and a rock hard “mattress”. The room had no natural light and a terrifying framed photo on the wall of an old rusty bed frame with blood on it. I just returned from a very nice weekend in Rome. I stayed at Suite Art Navona with my mum and brother for a long weekend (Thursday to Sunday). The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I forgot my adapter and he provided one immediately. Excellent location, all in walking distance. The pictures are very misleading (at least for the room we stayed in). Our room had blank walls with no art and dark paint made the room feel dreary. The bathroom was old and the shower had no tile (just waterproof paint that was peeling off). The wifi was extremely slow and cut out multiple times throughout our stay. Such a great hotel in a great area of the city. Rooms were very clean and the staff was lovely. Notified them that we would be checking in much later than expected and it was no issue at all. Great price and overall great stay!

So the facilities are quite nice but keep in mind that the hotel is on a very busy and noisy square. Since they have a/c and noise proof windows that's normally not a problem but if for whatever reason you have to open the windows, you are in for a rather noisy experience.
