Hotel Ripa Roma (couple trip)

When you first walk into the reception, the hotel looks quite luxurious and modern. However, the impression changes once you enter the room. The bathroom had a VERY strong sewage smell, which was hard to ignore. The room had two TVs, but unfortunately neither of them worked during our stay. Nice hotel with a modern vibe. Good breakfast. If you’re looking for a crash pad in a good area then stay here. The staff couldn’t care less if you’re staying there. They don’t even bother with a greeting, let alone a smile. It’s quite bemusing as I live in Europe and travel a lot, especially to Italy.

The rooms were large and clean, but the decor wasn't to my taste. The service was excellent, as was the breakfast with lots of choice. Located in the trastevere, it was central to some superb eateries and just a 30 minute picturesque walk to the coliseum and palatine

My family and I loved our stay at this fantastic hotel. The decor inside is lovely and the rooms are spacious and comfy. The breakfast was a highlight for me, especially the lemon cake and Kiwi juice! The staff were pleasant and helpful- the cleaners were especially polite and jovial! This hotel is close to the tram, but it took a long time to reach from the city center. Upon arrival, the lobby was underwhelming, but I decided to give it a chance. I was surprised to receive a room key attached to a large, bulky object and was told I had to return it to reception every time I left the hotel (very inconvenient to carry around).
