Hotel Mecenate Palace Rome (couple trip)

A nice hotel with good levels of service with a wonderful rooftop terrace and restaurant with fantastic views across Rome. Room was ok, but nothing special, bathroom was decent. WIFI was not good in our room. The Hotel is perfectly placed to get around Rome both on foot and using the buses

Such a gorgeous hotel! Sits steps away from the basilica where the late Pope Francis is lying in state. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very spacious and very clean! I would give this hotel 4 stars as it’s a bit shabby from age but actually perfectly comfortable to stay. The room we had was deluxe with a view for king size bed which was comfortable but the room itself was quite small we couldn’t even open our suitcases inside it as there was no space big enough.
