We loved it. Fantastic service beautiful room, great bedding and guest supplies. Located perfectly for visiting all interesting places Rome has to offer. Only a 20 minute walk to the Vatican. A great place to stay in 40 degrees! When we got in from a long, hot day of sightseeing the Horti 14 Borgo felt like a hidden oasis in the heart of Trastevere. Our room had a poured concrete floor and very effective air conditioning, which was truly lovely. Unfortunately on the last morning of our stay there was no hot water so we had cold showers. Other than that, hotel was ideal.

Very poor communication. Upon checking in to our room, there were several problems, including a non-draining sink, a bathroom door that wouldn’t latch, and an unclean bathroom floor. We were subsequently moved to Room 14, where the in-room phone was not functioning. I asked management 3 times before leaving the property what could be done to make things right, since this was a lot of issues to enc...
