The Roman Forum is absolutely fascinating and full of history. Walking among the ancient temples, arches, and ruins gives a real sense of what life was like in imperial Rome. The site is expansive, so give yourself plenty of time to explore and enjoy the views from the Palatine Hill. A remarkable place that pairs perfectly with a visit to the Colosseum.

Took a your with Crown Tours. Tara was phenomenal. She was able to explain the history of the construction, it's uses through the ages and explain a little of interesting facts along the way. The forum is absolutely huge. Bring a water bottle as you can fill it at the fountains. There was a clean bathroom in the museum that sold snacks and water just past the 2nd Arch of Triumph under the former t...

This is a must when you visit Rome! It’s an excavation place where old Roman constructions were found. It’s free to see it, right at the side from the Coliseum. The place is big and you can go downstairs to appreciate everything with more detail. It gives you the feeling you’re living in the old Roman Empire. Truly a great experience, which I recommend to not lose it!

Quite possibly my favourite place to visit in Rome, so much history and so much to explore with all the time in the world to take it all in. Because it's so vast, it never feels too busy despite of all the people there. The queue does not move the fastest so make sure to take water and a hat to protect yourself from the sun!

Must go for the ones who love the ancients, and recommend in general to admire these historical ruins. The place is huge, you can walk around for 2 hours at least if you take your time to appreciate and enjoy it. You may consider coming early for fewer crowds, and avoiding the heat, we went with the standard ticket and felt satisfied.
