What makes it 63% Baby-Friendly: Free baby entry, lifts, nursing room, and changing tables help, but stroller folding on stairs, long walking loop, and crowding during naps challenge parents and infants.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to view all four fresco halls at a baby-friendly pace with breaks.
Spot the School of Athens:
In the Signatura Hall, find Raphael’s masterpiece depicting philosophers.
Tip: Fold stroller in cloakroom and use a baby carrier to climb the stairs.
Admire The Fire in the Borgo:
See the dramatic fresco in the final room on the west end.
Tip: Narrow stairs require a folded stroller—carry baby in front carrier here.
Use the family audio guide:
Download the AmuseApp family tour for age-friendly stories and highlights.
Tip: Bring a headphone splitter or small speaker to share audio with your partner.

We stayed at Raphaels Room Roma for one night and the experience was overall positive. The property is located very close to the Vatican, perfect location for those who want to visit St. Peter's and the Vatican Museums on foot. The self check-in was simple and convenient. It has a beautiful courtyard with a garden, really nice to relax after a day of sightseeing in the city. The room was very cl...

It was a brilliant experience. Value for money indeed. Cleanliness, comfort, convenience were all at its highest. Walking distance to the Ottaviano metro station which gives you quick and easy access to all tourists attractions the city has to offer. Vatican city is just 5 minutes walk away. You would find Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies etc. around the block... "Julio" was very...

Dear owner. I carefully checked timing for that day - I admit we missed your message day before about leaving at 10.00 sharp and I insist that we had to leave your apartment at 10....

Couldn't recomment enough! The place has great location - 5min walk to the vatican city. There are many restaurants, bars and stores nearby. We had breakfast included - at a cafe right across the street which consisted of a coffee and a croissant. Would definitely recommend the place to others visiting Rome.
Visit at opening (9:00 AM) in spring and summer to avoid heat and crowds. Avoid the last-Sunday free entry—halls get very crowded with families.
