As we are EU citizens and under 25 the tickets were (as in every big sight) very cheap (2€ each). We spent around 1 hour there. Quite interesting to explore the history of the building. May 2025. Cool castle. Minimal line when we got there in the mid-afternoon. Reminded me of Helm's Deep in Lord of the Rings at times. Awesome views throughout as well. It's Rome after all, so it also had a good amount of art and frescoes.

One of my favorite spots in rome!! The castle is absolutely filled to the brim with history and mystery. So many amazing views and beautiful things to see. The café inside the castle also servers good espresso and are very friendly.
