What makes it 80% Baby-Friendly: Parents with babies find stroller-friendly paths, shaded benches and a changing table near the Children’s Farm, but no stroller rental and banned buggies in reptile house add lifting effort.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to see key animals, join a feeding session, and rest with your baby.
Stroll tree-lined paths:
Push a stroller along wide, paved routes under shady trees.
Tip: Start on the north side to avoid crowds and heat later.
Visit the Children’s Farm:
Meet and feed goats, sheep and donkeys in a fenced area.
Tip: Attend the 11:00 feeding talk for fresh hay and safe handling.
Ride the Bioparco Express:
Take a 15-minute mini-train loop around the park.
Tip: Park your stroller at the platform lockers then board early.
Cool off in the Reptile House:
Enjoy air-conditioned halls with snakes and turtles.
Tip: Use the stroller parking outside its entrance.

Loved this zoo. Animals look well cared for and enclosures were clean. Quite difficult to navigate as a few areas were closed for renovation when we went but this is a great place to visit! Tickets are cheap for how much you get to see. Lots of water fountains around too to beat the heat.

Amazing opportunity to experience beautiful and wonderful wildlife outside of their natural habitat. Very immersive and you can guide yourself on your own tour!
In summer, arrive at opening to avoid midday heat and use the reptile house for cool breaks. In rainy months, head indoors early for tropical exhibits.
