Incredible auditoria on the outskirts of Rome, home of a few different orchestras. I went to see the Academy of Santa Cecilia, who were excellent. The acoustic is fantastic and there is a varied and busy programme of events to suit most tastes. The train from Flamenio is probably the best way to get there if you're coming from a more central location.

Renzo Piano’s signature on Rome’s post-industrial district. Both the main stage and the open-air stage are truly enjoyable. The use of levels is beautifully handled. Still, one can’t help but wish its relationship with the city were stronger. I hope the frequency of events increases. I recommend every architect and architecture student visiting Rome to experience it.

Went for a musical symphony called Distant Worlds. We got drinks beforehand at the bar at the entrance. The bathrooms were on both sides of the stairs leading to the auditorium. The numbers start in the middle of the row of the seats which was a little confusing. But the venue was great, seats were comfortable, and the sound was amazing!

Concert in the outdoor arena. A perfect sized venue for gigs. It looked like every seat except the far sides would give a perfect view of the stage. Well run bar and easy to get to during the gig. Long queue to get it but moved very fast once doors were open. Quick exit at the end. The venue is quite small so gave a very intimate feel! Would definitely travel to see a gig here again!
