Positives:

  • Free access: No entry fee lets you visit at any time.
  • Step-free approach: Gentle slopes around the Arch work well with carriers and compact strollers.
  • Nearby baby facilities: Find sinks and changing tables at park entrances and inside the Colosseum area.

Challenges:

  • Uneven cobblestones: Historic paving may jostle strollers; a baby carrier is smoother.
  • Limited shade: Little cover around the Arch means sun or rain can affect comfort.
  • No on-site restrooms: The Arch itself has no direct toilets; plan breaks at park facilities.

Great to see the artwork and the history behind the Roman Empire. You have to buy the multi-tickets for the Forum and the Colosseum. Also to be noted when you purchase your tickets they usually have a time to go in so don't start the line until your time to go in.

Arch of constantine is right outside the Colosseum. It is a nice monument and there is a small park around it. You see lot of tourists and people around it. Crowded area. Worth clicking photos though.

Built in 312 AD to commemorate Emperor Constantine’s victory over Maxentius, it is the largest triumphal arch in Rome and an impressive blend of Roman artistry and politics. What makes this arch unique is its reuse of earlier sculpture...
