We took a bus 808 from the train station to the entrance of the park. You have to buy tickets online in advance. From the entrance there is a 20min walk to the top of the crater. There are few little stores where you can buy souvenirs and something to drink. Perfect view of the country around.

Loved it. We had great weather and the walk up was quite steep but very manageable. The view at the top of breath taking and unique.

Huge and potentially dangerous mountain 😁⛰️. Go their if you like nature and want to touch a piece of history. Don't expect galvanizing lava, it's pretty quiet there.

One of the greatest mountain hikes I’ve been on. The view is tremendous. The hike is tough so be prepared. Parking partially up the mountain is easy. Also get ready for the smell of sulfur once you’re at the top. The path is mostly sand/dirt

In summer start before 10:00 to avoid heat. In spring see wildflowers on the slopes. In winter bring warm layers and windproof jackets.
