Joy 124 Hotel Milano (solo trip)

Hotel located 15 min walk from milano centrale station. So difficult to get a taxi. Rooms are pretty small, hardly space to move. Room service pretty bad. They don’t provide a tea kettle, when asked for came pretty late without the bottom charger, which then came after 4 hrs. Water flows from the toilet towards the bedroom. Not worth the money for a 4 star. Should be a 2 or 3 star.

Great Staff, Disappointing Facilities The staff were the highlight of the stay—extremely friendly and helpful. However, the hotel facilities were poor. The hot water system is seriously flawed; we had to waste water for over 15 minutes just to get a warm shower. For a 4-star hotel charging a €14 city tax, not even providing complimentary water was very disappointing.

The hotel and the room are very clean and spacious. The bed is 180cm wide, which made it very comfortable to relax. The bathroom amenities only include a combined body soap and shampoo, as well as soap, so I recommend bringing your own toiletries. There are drinks in the fridge, but they are for purchase. The hotel room was very spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable throughout our stay. It was kept spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff made sure it was refreshed and cleaned daily, which really added to the overall comfort and convenience but they always left the door open while we are away.
