Hotel Da Vinci (solo trip)

Location is good and the room is good if you like space but! The WiFi was terrible! Terrible terrible network connection works when you get lucky. Room gets super humid so I slept with windows open every night. No AC, you need to go with your own fan and I wouldn’t advise to book here during hot weather months…. Fix your WIFI.

Unfortunatelly i had a bit of unpleasant experience in this hotel. The rooms were dated, the doors and walls were all scratched. I had two beds in a room.. one was so unconfortable it felt like it was from 70s. You could hear all the noise from the other rooms. I booked 2 rooms at this hotel last minute based on its good reviews but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the supposed 4-star standard. The room had a very strong chemical smell when we arrived — we had to air it out for most of the day just to make it tolerable. Considering that is a 4 star hotel- it does not provide tea, coffee, glasses or cups on the room. Besides restaurant there is nothing else to do at this hotel. Room service is charged at an extra. The Staff need training on how to be friendly and give good service. Very unfriendly lot. Never felt a warm welcome, had to think twice to ask a question, got very straightforward answers. Hotel is on the outskirts but easy to find and next to a train station. The location has some fantastic hidden gems of restaurants in the area. The room was beautiful and clean, we had fresh towels everyday. The buffet breakfast has a fantastic selection and was all delicious. Staff were friendly and there were no issues during our stay.
