Hotel Berna (with kids)

Hotel Berna was highly recommended by people on the Rick Steves website. The location and proximity to the train station were the initial selling points for me. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant and delicious surprise that kept me satisfied for my day’s adventures. I would definitely stay at Berna again.

I have to say, the staff here are the nicest I’ve met in Italy. This morning around 6:30 am, I had to check out early and rush to the airport. The gentleman at the front desk kindly reminded me that I had a breakfast box to pick up—such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you! I’ll definitely choose Hotel Berna again next time. :)

The location of this hotel is absolutely excellent, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. We loved our stay at this hotel! While the rooms could use an update in decor, it did not impact our overall stay. The rooms were clean and cleaned every day, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large with a rain shower, the hotel was very quiet, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, and the location worked well for us. I highly recommend Hotel Berna! The location is obviously perfect - not more than 5 minutes walk from the station. Even with a luggage, you wouldn’t need a taxi. I arrived late (after 10 pm) and exhausted, and the gentleman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. I wish I knew his name so I could give him a shout out!
