What makes it 72% Baby-Friendly: Babies can ride in strollers on smooth avenues and nap under shaded trees; however, diaper-changing tables are only inside nearby Triennale, so bring a mat or plan short stays.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: 2-3 hours allows walking paths, a picnic break, and rest at the library or Triennale facilities without rushing a baby.
Stroll stroller-friendly paths:
Walk along paved avenues and lawns throughout the park.
Tip: Follow Viale Shakespeare and Viale Elvezia for smooth surfaces and plenty of benches.
Shaded picnic under chestnut trees:
Spread a blanket near the lake or along Viale Elvezia for a calm break.
Tip: Bring a picnic and a portable mat; choose spots by water for a cooling breeze.
Relax at Bar Bianco library pavilion:
Sit in the small public library for quiet time to feed or soothe your baby.
Tip: Check opening hours and use the comfy chairs inside the pavilion.
Use Triennale family bathroom:
Change diapers on the ground-floor changing table inside Palazzo dell’Arte.
Tip: No museum ticket needed; enter via the main Triennale entrance.
Visit Gioco creative space:
Let your baby explore stroller parking, lockers, and a water dispenser.
Tip: Open Tue–Sun 10:30–20:00; pack a light snack and water bottle.
In summer, visit early mornings to avoid midday heat under the trees. In spring, enjoy colorful flower beds by the ponds. In autumn, picnic under falling leaves. In winter, dress warmly and sit in the library pavilion.

Dragon Heart SHERPA
After visiting the gardens & the palace at Versailles these hold no match. But since one is in Milan good for a walk. The best thing was live music being played here & one can sit & watch.

Very nice park. I enjoyed that there were no queues or entry fees to access the outside of the castle. It was nice and cool inside so it was a good free shelter from the sun. The benches in the park are also comfortable. The castle has free to use toilets, although they were not the easiest to find and just happened to stumble across them.

A very nice and large park area behind the Castle. Lots of greenery all around. We saw lot of people with dogs here for a walk. Nice place to get some good quality air and freshness. While there is nothing much to see here, it is just a good place to walk around.

The park is quite nice, big, with a lot of nice picnic spots. You can see ducklings, turtles, even fish in a pond. A few coffee shops inside offer a pleasant break in nature in the heart of Milan. What spoils the moment a little are dirt trails where bicycles raise a lot of dust. Overall, very nice place to visit and relax
