Milan Fondazione Prada (couple trip)

A must visit for contemplating art lovers. This museum area is quite big with many different galleries and buildings. Great mix of different international art exhibitions on a high level. Great industrial yet chic feeling when exploring the museum. Even the toilets are a piece of art here. Would highly recommend.

It’s a renovated distillery turned into a super cool cultural space. The Haunted House is covered in 200,000 sheets of 24K gold leaf—when the sun hits it, it really shines. You’ll see charcoal-like floors, that golden tower, and a mix of materials that somehow all work together. It’s all about the details and contrast, and it’s seriously stunning.

Spacious venue with a wide range of contemporary art – though a bit too sprawling for my taste. Some of the exhibitions could be more focused or thoughtfully curated. The showroom in the tower, in particular, gave off a somewhat superficial fashion vibe – it felt more like a backdrop for influencers (self-declared or not) than a space for engaging with art. Such a beautiful and artistic place to visit. The exhibitions are high quality and really good thought. It’s really tricky at the beginning, you get lost and confused by the place very easily, but in a good way. However there’s not a lot of signs and explanation, and there’s no staff to guide you so you kind of have to find it out by yourself. The shop is quite small and there’s not a lot of stuff...
