The museum is a little gem in the city center. The entrance is at the end of a gallery, a little hidden by the imposing staircase. There is usually someone outside to greet you and give you more details. My recommendation is definitely an audio guide. It doesn't cost much (5 euros), but you get a lot of information and it saves you from reading the panels next to each exhibit. I allocated 2 hours ...

Waw! Perfect to learn more about the mechanical designs of Leonardo (you can even create a few yourself, there’s nothing better to help understand it) but mostly about the famous painting The Last Supper! My family and I absolutely loved our visit to the Leonardo3 museum in Milan. It's a fantastic experience for all ages, with so many things to see and do. The museum's focus on interactive displays and hands-on models of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions makes it a fun and educational experience. We were all amazed by the genius of Leonardo and how his ideas came to life.

Excellent museum, especially for the evening price. 1,5h is enough. Very versatile. Amazing, beautiful models. Short descriptions in English, longer in Italian. I've seen people with audio guides. Excellent location. Additionally beautiful view to the Galleria.

We had a great time here. The exhibits were interesting and hands-on, which made it enjoyable for both kids and adults. The staff was kind, and we got a nice family discount. Although most of it was in Italian, audio guides in other languages were available, which helped a lot.
Plan weekday morning visits outside of summer peak to avoid crowds and find space for the stroller.
