The Artists' Palace Florence (solo trip)

Love, love, loved this Hotel! Fantastic location - close to the centre but still fairly quiet and every night we were there a musical performer played in the piazza outside our window (but we had good sound proofing if we just closed the window). Staff were super helpful, the room was charmingly historic but comfortable, and I loved the quirky touches and history of the building.

Location is great, staff was kind. I gave the hotel overall 4 stars strictly because of the size of bathroom. The bathroom was too small for 2 ppl. Not a big deal, I was traveling with my daughter and there really wasn’t any way for both of us women to get ready at the same time. However, I did stay here in 2019 and my room was great. Feels like you’re in an old Italian movie. Not the cheapest hotel, but worth it for the location, views and interiors. The library bar and artists balcony are absolutely beautiful. Getting ready to go out for dinner with the window open and listening to live music outside was the dream!
