Starhotels Tuscany (couple trip)

The hotel was well positioned outside the hustle and bustle of central Florence. We were travelling by train, so having the tram stop just across the road was very convenient. The room was a good size, the pillows wonderful and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

We stayed 4 nights. Since the start, we raised concerns over problems with the shower. It would switch from very hot to very cold (and vice versa), every 20 secs, regardless of where the temperature was set. The reception were informed and promised to investigate, but when we returned in the evening no action had been taken, and no update was provided either. The next day, the reception offered to...

This hotel is perfect for getting to airport - only 12 minutes on the tramline that heads into the city. We booked directly, and everything from booking to checkout was perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the rooms, which were well-equipped and had bathtubs. Breakfast was also fantastic! Wonderful experience!

I stayed here two nights after driving from the coast of Italy - and enjoyed the most incredible service and experience at this hotel. The staff were all so polite, friendly and genuinely cared. Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location half way between the airport and city centre - with the tramline that connects the two right outside the hotel. Very specific attention to detail, professional service throughout from all the hotel employees. Rooms well equipped. Cleanliness top notch.
