The reviews I saw rated this 4-5 stars, at most it’s a 3 star. The plumbing is extremely old, unreliable hot water and noisy. Location could not be more ideal, near the duomo and other attractions. There was a rooftop area to sit and we would eat our breakfast and watch sunrise over the mountains with a view of the dome. Anthony in reception was immensely kind and helpful.

This is a fantastic and reasonable hotel to explore Florence and it is a very short walk to the centre where all the attractions are.
