Mercure Firenze Centro (couple trip)

Hotel was good for a normal stay. Then we hit the Italian transport strike for Gaza. The staff were extremely helpful. They maintained their professional approach, and were also empathetic during what was must have been a difficult time also for them. The stay was good. Clean room with easy access to water and coffee in reception, which is unlike any other hotel we stayed at while in Italy. Location was in a less congested part of the city, easy to walk to anywhere we wanted though and good restaurants close by. Reception was very friendly. My only complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable

Staff were really friendly and helpful - ask for restaurant recommendations as they were very good. Late check out requests are done 24 hours before your checkout. Also, book well in advance and online/through the app (very reasonable), as the day rate went up very high during our stay (see attached for reference).

We had a great stay at the Mercure hotel in Florence. The staff are all lovely - friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious for the three of us. I appreciated the filtered chilled water available in the lobby for refilling bottles. Location is good, a very short walk from the railway station and close to all the sights. We had a great stay at Mercure Firenze Centro. The location is easily the best part. It’s right in the heart of Florence and just a short walk from the main train station, which was super convenient since we were traveling with large bags.
