Hotel Orto De' Medici (with kids)

A great hotel, close enough to walk to the historic centre of Florence but away from the noise and traffic. A cool, classic and understated elegant interior. Air con, firm comfortable beds and a lovely terrace for breakfast. The staff are all very friendly and incredibly helpful. A great hotel for couples. We look forward to returning.

A truly exceptional experience! Great staff. Wonderful and charming facility. A great location near but not too near to the major attractions. We stayed here after several days in Bucharest and Budapest at 5-star hotels. Orto De' Medici is at the top of that peer list! All in all a great hotel for those whose appreciate service and ambiance at its finest, yet free from pretense.

My 2 kids and I loved our stay here. Every staff especially those in the front desk are so friendly, kind, accommodating, and helpful. There were 3 of us and the front desk asked us what our preference was - 3 twin beds or 1 queen and a twin. This hotel is great. Perfect location walking distance to all the main attractions and to city centre. They have a nice garden too. We had a room off the garden and it was really nice. The rooms are big and very clean and the AC worked very well during the heat wave. Very good selection for breakfast. Good service and good front desk. We had a very good stay.
