Hotel Berchielli (solo trip)

The location is just perfect, very close to high street, galleries and just in front of the famous bridge. We had a free room upgrade with perfect river view. The hotel needs a slight refurbishment, breakfast was good, service was perfect and staff were very very friendly. Since it is very close to famous places, we had a chance to come back after a long day to have a short rest.

Our stay at Hotel Berchielli was out of this world. Unfortunately, this was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve had. First and foremost, the hotel is not equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities, which is completely unacceptable in 2025. It was a major issue for our group and made the entire stay incredibly stressful. On top of that, we had to wait over 45 minutes just to retrieve our car—every single time. Simply excellent. Great location. Beautiful view. Large and luminous rooms. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Add to that a cute little roof terrace and vegan options available for breakfast (vegan croissant, jam and soy milk cappuccino). A gem!
