Building is old as expected in Florence. Upon entry into my room it looked pretty well presented. Then the negatives started popping up: 1. There was a stench of body odour which most probably came from the mattresses (probably hasn't been cleaned/managed for many years) Also the mattresses felt too old and overused. The hotel looks very welcoming and the room did not disappoint at all - It was clean and spacious, plus the shower was amazing. The breakfast overall was nice and the staff was friendly, but I would recommend you to eat there before 9:20 because the food can run out.

Not the best but acceptable for the price. The shower room was small. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable. For solo, couples, friends not for family use… If you want to leave your luggages, just to be sure to take a lock with you since they just keep it in the lobby.
