Corte Guelfa (solo trip)

I was quite disappointed with the cleaning service. When we returned, the room was only partly cleaned — some of the trash had been taken out, but some was left behind. We even had to take some garbage to the street bins ourselves to make space. The floor was never mopped during our stay. The room design is also poorly thought out. The main bedroom and extra sofa bed are both on the ground floor ...

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately we had a difficult 3 nights sleeping due to the heat in the room. This hotel which is similar to apartments is centrally controlled and it was 25c and higher trying to sleep (nearly 80F). The staff did what they could but the system kept trickling hot air out. Stayed here for 3 nights in mid October ‘25. The hotel is in a gritty part of Florence near the train station. I stayed in room 9, standard double. Had some issues with the key card first night (sensor wouldn’t work) so they had to give me a physical key in case the card wouldn’t work (!). After 7 nights, I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are very quiet, even though the hotel is close to everything. They were even working on the road during our stay and you could not hear it in our room. Staff were all very helpful, breakfast was good, and, yeah, just a very relaxing hotel for a week in Florence.

Centrally located hotel, just a few minutes away from most attractions. The family room is huge, with a separate bedroom, a living/dining area and two shower rooms, so it can easily accommodate a family of four, or a group of friends.
