C-Hotels Club (couple trip)

We stayed for 2 nights in November. The room and location in itself were good. The issue we encountered was that the room was too warm, making it uncomfortable to sleep. When asking the front desk for help with the air conditioning, which was not working, we were told that the AC was only an option during the summer, and that the only option was to open a window. Fantastic hotel with a great location close to Santa Maria Novella station. Awesome breakfast and super friendly staff. Not the hotels fault, but we stayed on a Saturday night and there were people partying on the street below til 4am, did affect my sleep after a long travel day. Overall a fantastic stay and the staff went above and beyond.

Pros: very close to the train station, reception staff were helpful, bathroom had a bidet (شطاف). Cons: our room was next to the stairs so we could hear every step which was a bit annoying, bathroom floor wasn’t level so the floor stayed wet. I stayed in room 406 on the fourth floor, and my experience was disappointing. I saw the Google reviews and thought rooms had been renovated, but this room doesn’t seem to have been. The overall quality was poor. The room was not very clean, the wallpaper was peeling, and the shower leaks water onto the floor. A few minutes walk from the station puts this hotel in a perfect place. Although by a busy area there is little noise in the room. I don't think I can say enough about the service of the hotel. The staff are friendly, very helpful and exactly what you need when travelling.
