Anglo American Hotel Florence, Curio Collection by Hilton (solo trip)

We had a great time in Florence at this place. It is located within walking distance of all the major attractions. The hotel staff surprised us with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. We had amazing stay at this place. The only reason for not giving 5 star is due to a rare off experience at the breakfast restaurant on one of the days.

Guiseppe greeted us with such great hospitality and warmth upon our arrival and was great to chat with while we were there during our stay. He even remembered my birthday. Great stay overall. The hotel is located just outside the city center — about a 15-minute walk — which has its pros and cons. It’s quiet, less crowded, and peaceful, but still close enough to reach the main sights without much effort. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the restaurant downstairs is a solid bonus. We were not sure what we would get when I booked this hotel through our Costco package. We were very impressed when we arrived. The hotel has modern updates, is spotless and the staff was fantastic.
