The Uffizi Galleries are crammed full of more Renaissance art than can be seen in one day, recommend 2-3 days of leisure time. Also some rooms don’t have good air circulation and can be really stuffy while others have great ventilation. I loved it and highly recommend while in Florence.

Visiting the Uffizi Gallery was a dream come true. I love Tuscany and the Renaissance, and being in the Uffizi Gallery and seeing the works of famous Renaissance artists was like a dream. I had to pinch myself every now and then to remind myself that I was awake and that I was really in the Uffizi Gallery. We were visiting in May, so it was crowded, but I didn't notice it at all, as I was excited ...

The Uffizi Gallery is more than just a museum; it's a profound journey through the evolution of Western art, housed in a magnificent building that was originally, and rather amusingly, a series of "offices" for the Medici family—which is what "Uffizi" literally means. The collection, largely built by the Medici themselves, is a testament to their patronage and vision. Walking through its long, vau...

We got to the entrance 15 minutes before the museum opened and there was already a line. That being said, the museum is huge and early in the morning crowds weren't bad at all! We ran right upstairs to the Botticelli rooms, and got to h...
