This place was awesome! We came across it when on our way to Giardino Bardini. We could have spent hours here. There is a bar selling snacks, coffee, and drinks, but the views are what takes the cake! Definitely check it out if you're in the area, but beware it is a steep hike with lots of steps to the top. Worth it though!

Go here instead of Piazzale Michelangelo! Calm, beautiful and a great view of the city. Nice bar. Check out opening times!

Price point to enter the grounds is 5€ - but the view is really gorgeous and enjoying a cappuccino up here simply wonderful.

This place is so nice to escape the busyness and chaos of the city. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of Florence!

Brilliant panorama of the city! It's really worth the uphill climb here. The reward is worth it! In addition, the attraction is free if you only enter the upper terrace. In addition, there is a nice bar on the terrace - prices are quite high, but you can pay extra for such a view.
In summer the fortress stays open until 7 pm—time your visit for sunset light. In winter check closing times and wear layers for hilltop chill. Hidden-walk tours run only on June and September weekends.
