This iconic cathedral is breathtaking inside and out, with its red-tiled dome, intricate marble façade, and towering Giotto bell tower. The scale and artistry are unmatched, and the surrounding piazza adds to its grandeur. Entry is free, but climbing the dome or accessing the terraces requires advance booking due to high demand. Accessibility is thoughtfully addressed, with designated entrances an...

Visited the cathedral last week and had a great time, our ticket included the bell tower, Battistero San Giovanni, the Museum scheduled the Duomo climb 2 weeks prior to our visit as we heard time slots might not be available during our stay. We had the last climb of the day around 6pm. It wasn’t easy but was a great view at the top. The staff were awesome and helpful.

The outside of the building is a sight to be hold superb and worth the visit alone. The inside not so much quite bland for such a huge building. The fresco on the ceiling is wonderful Plus if you want to see climb the dome or the bell tower it's extra charges as is the crypt. To see the check on site and book well in advance . Advisable to book in advance to visit the cathedral inside

Absolutely beautiful, the cathedral looked amazing and it was very grandiose. I loved to see the use of colors that they applied. You really cannot grasp just how big the cathedral and the dome are until you stand close to it. Heck we were even able to see it from when our plane was going to land.

The intricate marble facades, stunning stained...
