What makes it 61% Baby-Friendly: Babies are welcome and the free shuttle avoids the climb, but gravel paths frustrate strollers and no on-site changing tables exist, so bring a carrier, portable mat, and confirm needs with staff.
This place may be temporarily closed. Please check official sources before visiting.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for the shuttle ride, stroller-friendly strolls, snack breaks, and rest stops with your baby.
Free Electric Shuttle Ride:
Skip the steep climb between Via de’ Bardi and the top of the garden.
Tip: Use the shuttle on weekends and holidays; call staff on arrival to reserve stroller space.
Stroll on Main Garden Paths:
Walk along the wide gravel and earth paths suitable for strollers and carriers.
Tip: Keep to the main routes and bring a baby carrier for uneven sections.
Snack Break at La Loggetta Café:
Grab organic fruit pouches or mini panini mid-visit.
Tip: Order the kids’ menu items early to avoid lines and check for baby-friendly options.
Picnic near Wisteria Tunnel:
Spread a blanket on the lawn by the blooming wisteria pergola.
Tip: Bring your own snacks and a ground mat for baby play and naps.

Not worth the $10 entry fee specially in Sept (with nothing blooming really). The map annotations do not have corresponding markings in the garden. Hard to navigate.

I didn’t visit the villa but only the garden. It offers good views of Florence from the terrace, and not overly too crowded. It has a cafe you can sit down to have light refreshments or drinks while appreciating the view.

A beautiful place to spend the morning. Nice long walk. Winding paths uphill, but not too challenging. Incredible views from several locations. Lovely cafe with stunning view at the top!
Visit in spring for wisteria blooms and mild weather. Avoid rainy days when paths can get slippery and muddy.
