The Twelve Hotel (couple trip)

What an unexpected treat. My wife and I stopped for lunch and discovered the best Gluten Free fish and chips meal we've ever experienced. The cod couldn't have been fresher and the batter was light and crispy. My wife is Coeliac and we both had the GF fish and chips. Can recommend to one and all. We'll be back.

Booked a family stay for my sons birthday here recently with our dog. The reception staff were great. This is a real "dog friendly" hotel. A doggie welcome pack was in our room, a nice touch. Had dinner in the bar. Ordered a very rare steak, it arrived medium to well done. Asked for vinegar for chips 4 times before it arrived. At this stage my family were nearly finished dinner. Upon arrival I received a great support from the team, and also for the entire duration of our stay. I would give 5 stars, but restaurant service was not entirely satisfactory (food quality deserves 5 stars). I had the feeling local clients received a different treatment than tourists. With more attention to details in my opinion this hotel still has room of improvements.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are flawless and so helpful. I am a tour manager and had an issue with a bag from a previous hotel and posted to this hotel to store it. Anything I needed or the group needed it was never a problem! They went above and beyond to make sure people's needs were met! It is dog friendly , and even has a dog menu! Truly a wonderful place!
