The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made for a very welcoming experience. Breakfast was just okay—similar to what you find in many places, with a fairly minimal selection. The room itself was comfortable and clean, though a bit outdated in style. Overall, I would stay here again and appreciated the hospitality.

I recently stayed at this five-star hotel and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience at the bar which stood in stark contrast to the otherwise excellent service we received throughout the hotel. After sitting at a high-top table for around 10 to 15 minutes without being acknowledged, we moved to a low-top table directly in front of the bar, thinking it might help us be seen. I was really shocked and disappointed at the condition of the hotel for the price that it cost. I have never been to a 5 star hotel (or even a 4 stay hotel) that felt so outdated and cheap. The bedding was low quality, neither the furniture nor room were comfortable at all. The pillows look nice but they become flat in an instant. The tables and chairs in the lounge and bar were never wiped down ...

Had the most wonderful stay. Received such a lovely warm welcome at reception, unfortunately l don't remember the ladies name. Our room was not quite ready so we were brought to the bar and offered a drink. We then got a wonderful surprise with an upgrade to a junior suite. The only thing 5 star about this hotel is the price. Maybe it was posh in the 1980s but now it just looks strange, dark, and dingy. The decor is wild and everything has a strange fishy/perfumed smell in the lobby. You’ll get to know the lobby well because they don’t offer early check in.
