Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway (couple trip)

We are visiting for our son’s wedding. We stayed here at the Maldron for a few days before the wedding (which was in Westport), and came back here for the week after. It has been a lovely stay, and all the staff are wonderful. Karen, in the breakfast room, was particularly welcoming. Thanks so much for making our stay here so special.

We stayed here this weekend (5-7 Sept). Very nice and clean rooms with a lovely big bathroom The beds are excellent too. Adequate free underground parking. Courteous staff and a wide range of breakfast options. However, as a vegetarian, i felt baked beans were missing for the breakfast. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you! 👌

We checked in online and when we walked up to the counter everything was there ready for us to go directly to our rooms after a long day of traveling. We found the room a great size and perfect for families like our own. The food in the restaurant was good for breakfast although the hot option were lacking for vegetarians, something like vegetarian sausages (to order) would be great. When we first arrived, we were greeted and offered a different room since our room had "small" windows and the new room would have more of a "view." The view was on the first floor, of the outdoor parking lot and had several men, outside smoking, looking into our room. The staff was very understanding and gave us keys to the new room.
