One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Very kind and accommodating staff. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Great location, so conveniently close to the train station. Highly recommend doing the pub crawl, it was so fun as a solo traveller - connecting with fellow guests, checking out the night life and again, the staff was awesome.

As a solo traveler in my first hostel experience in Ireland, the Galway City Hostel was a great place to Start. It is placed right next to the train station in Eyre-square, which is ideal. The staff is welcoming and friendly (shout-out to Flynn) they organize pub-crawls and give your suggestions for things to do at the hostel. I met a few fellow travelers and made friends. The place is clean and c...

Very nice hostel which offers breakfast at no extra cost! The rooms, showers and kitchen are all kept very clean by staff and guests and the whole hostel has a very friendly and homey atmosphere. The only downside is that most rooms are located directly above a pub, so if you want to got to sleep early, it will not be quiet as you can hear the live music through the walls.

The only downside would be the breakfast which, to me, isn't wo...

I have never felt so welcomed at a hostel! The staff was so kind and friendly! Especially Tom (you rock)! The rooms were clean and had comfortable beds! The common space is so homey and welcoming! Met so many cool people, sad I couldn't stay longer! Will definitely be back!! Go to Galway and don't even second guess this hostel!!
