What makes it 79% Baby-Friendly: Flat stroller-safe paths, free infant entry and baby-change in café toilets welcome babies, but no dedicated nursing room and uncertain high-chair availability make a prior call wise.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This allows time to stroll the gardens, relax at the café with baby breaks, and browse exhibits without rushing.
Stroll the Celtic Gardens:
Follow smooth, stroller-friendly paths through four themed gardens and wildflower meadows.
Tip: Stay on main paths to avoid uneven ground and enjoy all areas.
Relax at the Garden Café:
Use baby-change facilities and seating near windows while you enjoy coffee and snacks.
Tip: Ask for a high chair or a quiet corner when you arrive.
Visit the Visitor Centre Exhibits:
Explore free displays on biodiversity and renewable energy with your baby in the stroller.
Tip: Use the accessible route from the café to avoid steps.
Browse the Gift Shop:
Free entry to check local crafts, herbal teas, and prints.
Tip: Pick up a lightweight souvenir like herbal tea or a small print.

Yesterday our Botanical Art group celebrated Christmas together over a delicious lunch in Brigit’s Garden. Caroline, Jenny and all the team look after us so well, we always return! Highly recommend BG, the gardens, the mystical connections with our past, and, of course, the food and the welcome.

Our Community Group had a brilliant afternoon at Brigit’s Garden, which was organised through Laura who was very helpful. Our guide Declan was kind and knowledgeable, we learnt and saw a lot even though it was a cold wet day. The service and food were also top class. Looking forward to our next visit.

Probably my toddler's favorite stop! We loved this place. It was cute and relaxing after 15 days rushing around the country. We got coffee and treats and started winding down for our last couple days in the country. Sept 15, 2024.

It was a peaceful moment. The people were very kind, and the food was tasty. It's objectively a good spot and I highly recommend it.
