We had such a great experience on this course. The staff here is amazing, and very responsive to anything you need. The course is beautifully laid out, and not overly challenging. If you're just looking for something fun and casual. Only a couple minutes away from downtown Galway hotels, I highly recommend hitting this course if you are in the Galway area.

Great course, very tricky, tight fairways and bushy, made for an interesting scorecard. Everybody was really friendly. The course was in excellent condition and the views were spectacular. Really enjoyed the day.

Played the course on a ‘soft day’ in Galway. Course was in good condition. Greens had been sanded. Given a discount of the green fees because of this, which was appreciated. Firstly letting me know in advance and secondly money off the green fees. Played off the white tees. Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Would be happy to play there again when I’m back down west.

A great course with great views, especially the back nine. There have been a lot of improvements to the fairways over the last couple years, if you haven't been here in a while be sure to check it out. The cafe is great as well with amazing views over the course towards the bay, the cafe is worth a visit even if you don't play.

Hidden gem! I rented clubs. Rented a cart as I figured I would play 36 holes. Course is in amazing shape and the greens are spectacular. First round was just over 100 and the second round was 1/2. Amazing staff and the restaurant views and food are breathtaking. No need to pay 250 to play a course when you find a gem like Bearna.

When is the best time to visit Bearna Golf Club (Galway, Ireland)?

In summer, use the online voucher for a €25 18-hole rate. In winter, expect earlier tee-time closures and lower off-peak fees. Always check daylight hours before booking late rounds.
