I stayed last week with my wife and two children. The hotel is fine. It's obviously dated, some of which you expect as the original building is a magnificent old structure. The newer part of the hotel is also dated. I have no issue with an older fit and finish once it's maintained. The garden was lovely. Well done to the groundskeepers for an excellent job all-round. The room was a little too w...

Our first visit to Ireland included 7 nights here. The hotel itself is beautiful, with the “old world” feel that is completely modernly maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. We stayed in a “family room” which included 2 queen beds. It was comparable in size to our US hotel rooms with plenty of storage & space for our week-long stay. We used the breakfast rate, which I highly ...

This was a very disappointing stay after previously having stayed at this property a year ago. While it wasn't a 5-star then, the property was in better condition and the service was considerably better. All of the rooms and fitness center need major updates while most of the shared areas are reasonably well-kept. In our room, the mini fridge wasn't working and looked like it hadn't been cleane...

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and ...

Had a really pleasant experience during my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was at check-in or just passing through the lobby. What stood out most was the coffee. Whether it was early morning or a late afternoon pick-me-up, it was consistently fresh, well-made, and far better than what you’d expect from a hotel. It made each ...
