A score of 65: Sheep-dog shows, castle play and free HOHO child tickets amuse 3-12s, but long drives without coach toilets and cliff edges require vigilance and motion-sickness prep.

Positives:

  • Experienced guides: Friendly guides share engaging stories and local legends throughout the tour.
  • Comfortable transport: Air-conditioned coaches with 4G WiFi make long drives easier for families.
  • Flexible stops: Hop-on hop-off options let you adjust the pace to suit young children’s needs.

Challenges:

  • No onboard toilets: Coach breaks use public facilities, so plan restroom stops for young children.
  • Weather exposure: Cliff and countryside stops can be windy and wet; layer clothing and bring rain gear.
  • Long coach rides: Kids may find extended seating uncomfortable; pack small games or tablet for entertainment.

What an incredible experience - David and Michael made this tour truly unforgettable. David, our guide, was a master storyteller with a deep knowledge of the area and a great sense of humor. He kept us engaged from start to finish, weaving history, fun facts, and personal touches into every moment. And Michael, our bus driver, was just as fantastic. Smooth driving, great timing, and a warm, friend...

Had a wonderful excursion! Our guide Stephen, and driver Warren were both excellent. Loved the fun atmosphere and detailed historical information about the area. Stephen was very knowledgeable and I was amazed to learn he has only been working as a tour guide for 4 months! He was truly excellent. Stunning views and a wonderful experience. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone!

We traveled from Dublin to Belfast, for a Black Cab tour then onto Dunluce Castle and the Giants Causeway. There was a short stop on the way with enough time for a quick breakfast. We had the choice of going to the Titanic Museum or doing a Black Cab tour with a local driver. We choose to do the Bla...

I took the Cliffs of Moher and Galway tour with guide Stephen and driver Marco. Stephen was very informative and kept our bus entertained. Marco did an excellent job keeping us on time and getting us around safely and efficiently. They both gave helpful suggestions for our stops. I would highly recommend booking this tour.
