Babies enter free, pram routes and a baby-changing toilet ease logistics, yet no private nursing room and loud echoes during services can force an early exit, making the visit moderately suitable.

Positives:

  • Pram-friendly access: Wide aisles, smooth floors, and a ramp make navigation with a stroller easy.
  • Baby admission is free: Children under 5 enter without a ticket, lowering overall family costs.

Challenges:

  • No dedicated play area: There is no enclosed space for toddlers to crawl or play freely inside.
  • Limited seating: Benches in the nave may fill quickly during services or tours.

Lovely Cathedral! The tile work, marble and old flags were really cool. Has a nice little park right next to it. Lots of dogs in park so be careful where you walk.... The CitizenM Hotel is new (Aug 2025) and has direct view on it!!

We purchased out tickets online ahead of time for an easier entry, and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour here. Audio guides were included with our basic admission but we chose to walk around without it just admiring the architecture and stained glass windows. This is a very neat cathedral, one of the best I've visited on my Europe trips. WAYYYY better than Dublin Castle!!
