Positives:

  • Free entry: Park access and most attractions are free, ideal for budget-conscious couples.
  • Wildlife close to city: See wild fallow deer within city limits for a unique urban-nature mix.

Challenges:

  • Large area: At 1760 acres the park is easy to get lost in; plan routes or use a map.
  • Changeable weather: Paths can get muddy; bring layers and waterproofs.

Everything was very beautiful and clean. I could see crows, deer, and squirrels. Just stand still and respect their space, and they'll walk right by you. It was perfect! Please don't try to feed the animals, and be careful with children, as they can fight among themselves and end up hurting anyone nearby. Five stars!

Such a beautiful park, spare a few hours to enjoy it. Make sure you have tea and lovely fresh scones at the end of your walk. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the finest parks I’ve ever visited. Spotting the fallow deer was an unforgettable highlight. We enjoyed a pleasant walk, followed by coffee and cake at the café—a perfect way to savor the joy of strolling amidst nature.
