Christ Church Cathedral (couple trip)

While the visit was interesting, the cathedral doesn't compare well with its English equivalents. I would have liked to go up to the tower. The crypt was incredible although its architectural formality surprised me.

The Christ Church Cathedral was beautifully maintained and very appealing. The choir and the crypt were particular highlights. The architecture and stained-glass windows were stunning, and the exhibits were highly interesting. I felt very comfortable there, surrounded by a truly pleasant atmosphere.

Walking through the doors, you can't help but feel a sense of awe at the architecture. The history that is embedded within the walls is remarkable, making you feel small in comparison. Really interesting church with a great self guided option. You could get a physical audio guide or an app - the app worked really well and took you around the cathedral and down into the crypt. Very interesting information on it too - allows you to hear different perspectives of each part of the cathedral.

We visited this beautiful cathedral in the morning on a Saturday. We used our gocity pass to visit. It is truly beautiful!
