Maryborough Hotel & Spa (couple trip)

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On arrival, I found a welcome note in my room, but unfortunately it had the wrong name (“Karl”), which wasn’t the best first impression. I was also told by reception that the leisure centre opened at 06:00 during the week, but when I went to check, the signage on the door stated 06:30. My first time staying and it won’t be my last. What a wonderful place. An absolute oasis of calm within the city. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are very well appointed, and the views from the garden and over the garden are just stunning. I have a new favourite place to stay in Cork

Our new favourite hotel to stay when we go to Cork. The staff are just so professional and warm - right through from check in to the bar/restaurant. Cannot recommend The Maryborough enough. Just had my wedding there last month, and all of the staff were wonderful, incredibly accommodating, and always on hand to help.
