Fountain House B&B (couple trip)

Very good breakfast and helpful host. Sadly the room was very dated and cramped with attention to detail lacking, one bedside lamp not working. Plasticky mattress cover and electric blanket uncomfortable. The bathroom / wet room like a very cold cell with an icy floor, no heating or even heated towel rail. Tea and coffee offered in the residents lounge but no spoons or milk and coffee jar almost ...

Absolutely the best Bnb we have tried yet in Ireland. The kindest service you can think of - and the full Irish breakfast is delicious.

We stayed with Breda the host for over a week with our fishing team, the hospitality and care was above and beyond , outside storage for our equipment was a real advantage Nothing was too much trouble for this fantastic host

Such a friendly hostess. You are staying in some’s home not a hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, nice and convenient location. You can walk along the trail to see the waterway. Breakfast is great with lots of items.

Breda at the fountain house was so accommodating. Absolutely joyful spirit and a great cook. Her B&B was clean and had such a home-y feel to it. Very inviting atmosphere. My only wish was that we stayed a little longer to enjoy the area and talk more with her!
