What makes it 72% Kids-Friendly: School-age kids can join guided eco walks, safe-harness swings, and sky bikes, but narrow terraces lack railings, paths get slippery, toilets basic, and supervision must be constant.
Why 3–5 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for walking the terraces, riding swings, and taking rest stops without rushing.
Rice Terrace Walk:
Stroll on gentle paths among the stepped paddies.
Tip: Give kids time to pause and spot farmers planting or water buffalo grazing.
Jungle Swing:
Ride child-friendly swings high over the valley.
Tip: Check height rules and secure the safety harness for school-age children.
Zip Line & Sky Bike:
Try zip lines and sky bikes for older kids.
Tip: Book these activities in advance and confirm age or height limits.
Family Eco-Tour:
Join a guided walk explaining traditional rice farming.
Tip: Ask the guide to demonstrate planting and harvesting steps.
Photo Spots & Handicraft Shopping:
Take family photos by signature signs and browse local crafts.
Tip: Carry small change for bargaining and confirm prices before buying.

An absolutely stunning spot and definitely worth a visit! 🌾 The views over the rice terraces are breathtaking, and you can really feel the beauty and calm of Bali here. There are those famous swing experiences where you can rent a beautiful flowing dress and pay for a professional photo or video — they’re amazing if you want that classic Bali swing moment! 🎥💃 But there are also lovely free spo...

10/10 worth the stop or a detour to visit !! The terrace is absolutely breathtaking and there’s plenty of beautiful spots for photos along the way. Theres also Balinese swings, and zip lining opportunities which I did not participate in but looked awesome. Could definitely spend a few hours here if the weather is nice and you wanted to walk/hike throughout the terrace

We arrived in the early morning, almost at opening time, and we didn't regret it. It was very quiet, beautiful, and deserted! Nature had just woken up, and the terraces looked stunning on all sides! We stopped along the way to refresh ourselves with coconuts while admiring the stunning views. I definitely recommend it.

Spectacular place to visit. I HIGHLY recommend going there around sunrise. I was let in at 6:30am and i was the only one there for a good 30 mins. To be left to your own devices in a UNESCO World Heritage Site is out of this world. Stunning scenery every way you look. Great for photographers

The landscapes are stunning — layered rice fields stretching into the distance with lush greenery and palms swaying overhead. It’s a place where you can truly take in Bali’s natural beauty. This spot is great if you enjoy light hiking. There are paths and trails that let you wander through differ...
Visit during the dry season (April–October) for firmer paths and vibrant green fields. Avoid the rainy months (November–March) when trails get slippery.
