Positives:

  • Shaded Trails: Dense canopy keeps paths cool even at midday.
  • Close-up Monkey Encounters: You can observe macaques interacting naturally within 2–3 meters.

One of my best experiences on Bali! It's a beautiful forest full of monkeys. Monkeys are everywhere! On the trees, walking next to you, everywhere. It's so nice to observe them! You have the feeling of being part of the nature there.

Beautiful lush forest in the centre of the city. My advice if you want a photo with the monkeys, just sit down on the benches in the main square. If you sit still for a couple of minutes you'll find the monkeys naturally gravitate towards you out of curiosity. Very playful little bandits

Be ready to see a lot of angry, playful, sad and curious monkeys. They are everywhere and it’s amazing! Definitely worth the visit! Watch your belongings as they grab everything. No need to buy tickets in advance as it’s a large park. 2-3 hours is more than enough to see everything and take in the extremely rich monkey habitat.

We had a really fun time visiting the Monkey Forest. It’s a great activity for couples — relaxing, interesting, and a bit adventurous. The monkeys were surprisingly friendly and fun to watch up close. It was also really cool to see how they live and interact in such a natural setting. The staff were very kind and helpful, making sure everyone was safe and informed. One thing to keep in mind: there...

Lovely place to walk around. Monkeys were well behaved and a lot of fun. We didn't take Sun glasses as we didn't want them stolen by a Monkey, but it would have been fine. They were well behaved but we followed the signs in regards to not touching etc. They are wild animals, respect them and you will be fine. Nice walks around the park
