How Kids-Friendly is Real Bali Swing?

Children 5–12 may ride selected swings with harnesses and share nests, but parents must supervise and there are no play areas, stroller paths, or kid-oriented toilets, reducing convenience.

Considerations for visiting Real Bali Swing (with kids)

Positives:

  • Inclusive package: Active ticket covers lunch, drinks and on-site insurance.
  • Staff supervision: Trained guides fasten harnesses and monitor every swing.

Challenges:

  • Age restrictions: Children under 5 cannot use swings and must stay in nests or on the bed swing under supervision.
  • Uneven terrain: Paths and stairs are steep and uneven; strollers won’t work well.

Recommended visit duration: 2–3 hours

Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Families can enjoy swings, photo spots and lunch without feeling rushed.

Kids-Friendly Activities in Real Bali Swing

Ride the Family Swing:

A larger swing designed for a parent and child to swing together.

Tip: Ask staff to adjust harness height for the 3-year-old’s safety.

Try the Bed Swing:

Lie back on the wooden ‘bed’ swing to take in the jungle views.

Tip: Hold both kids on the bed swing for a group photo with valley backdrop.

Explore Photo Frames:

Posed spots like the helicopter frame and jungle boat create fun family shots.

Tip: Bring a matching outfit or rent dresses on site for dramatic photos.

Climb into Nests & Sky Bed:

Relax in woven bird nests or the sky bed for low-risk fun.

Tip: Let the 3-year-old play in nests while the 12-year-old tries a gentle single swing.

Really terrible. Exorbitantly priced. Nothing special at all. Not at all worth the price. 650k to access all the swings, another 250k to rent the dress and another 200k for the photos. Total comes out to 950k in IDR, approx. INR 5000. And for men accompanying their ladies, there is absolutely nothing to do there. And for that too they charge 100k for entry. The staff attitude is horrible. Look for...

My friend suggested to visit the real Bali swing and not the other swing options. I guess they were the first ones to start this swing madness :) The location is beautiful and it was not crowded. Good selection of dresses and they are not over used. Everyone knows what they are doing, they guide you easily through each photo spot. Well organised, safe and fun experience.

A fun way to spend an hour or two in the countryside of Ubud, riding various single and couple swings with a magnificent view of the lush green fields. Plenty of great staff available to ensure safety and also for taking photos and videos, and we had plenty of time to complete our visit as we preferred. We were not rushed and complete the various attractions as our time suited. Be aware that ther...

Great Views and Photos, But Staff Attitude Needs Work Visited Real Bali Swing in Ubud and overall, it’s a good place if you’re looking for some iconic photo moments with a lush, scenic backdrop of greenery and water. The location itself is beautiful and natural, with about 8–10 different swings designed for that perfect Instagram shot. However, it’s on the expensive side — 650K IDR per person fo...

This place is a trendy spot in Bali known as Bali swing I came here without any expectations, assuming that this place is kind of touristy. However, I still enjoyed the spot so much and took so many photos. The scenery was amazing, and all the local photogs and workers were incredibly friendly. This place didn’t give me a tourist trap vibe but instead it is like a professional photo shoot studio ...
