How Baby-Friendly is Nusa Dua Beach?

Stroller-friendly walkway and gentle shallows suit prams and wading, yet public beach lacks nursing rooms or change tables, so caregivers need shade gear, portable mats and strict sun-hour planning.

Reviews4.5/ 5
(from 1,230 reviews)

Positives:

  • Safe for strollers: The flat, paved walkway lets you push a pram smoothly along the beach.
  • Shallow, calm water: An offshore reef keeps waves gentle, ideal for baby’s first wading experiences.
  • Nearby baby facilities: Food court offers changing rooms and high chairs for hassle-free feeding.

Challenges:

  • Limited nursing rooms: Public beach lacks dedicated nursing areas; bring a nursing cover and portable mat.
  • Midday heat: Sun can be intense between 11 AM and 3 PM; plan visits in cooler morning or late afternoon.
  • Rental costs can add up: Umbrella and lounger fees may strain budget if rented for long hours.

Nusa Dua Beach is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip. The water is calm and inviting, and the beach itself is clean and well kept. What really made it special for us were the sunrises. Waking up early and walking down to the gazebos to watch the sky change colors was unforgettable. It is the kind of place that feels peaceful and safe, where you can truly relax and take in t...

Nusa Dua Beach is a relaxing and still natural spot, perfect for unwinding. It’s quiet, clean, and has a wide stretch of sand, making it feel spacious and safe for visitors. While there’s still the occasional piece of plastic trash, the overall environment is well-kept. A great place to enjoy calm waves, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings.

Nice Beach, loving it. Definitely, I will plan again to spend more time during my next trip to Bali on Nusa dua beach. Clear blue water looks mind-blowing. Amazing.

A quiet but nice beach, mostly accommodating to hotel guests who are staying along this beach. There are restaurants as well along the beach, for enjoy the view with some food and drinks. Visited in April 2025.
