Kids can splash in shallow ends and join beginner surf schools, but rip currents mid-beach, scarce shade, pushy hawkers, and limited toilets demand vigilant adult supervision.
Why 2-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for sand play, surf lessons, and a beach stroll without rushing.
Sandcastle Building & Shallow Play:
Let kids dig in soft sand and splash in gentle shore waves.
Tip: Bring or rent buckets and spades; supervise children in shallow water.
Kids’ Group Surf Lesson:
Children age 7+ learn to ride gentle waves with instructor and gear.
Tip: Book morning slots for calmer water; reserve lessons in advance.
Boogie Board Rental:
Rent boogie boards for low-risk wave fun near the shoreline.
Tip: Rent near mid-beach; ask for safety vests and test in small waves.
Circus Waterpark Kuta:
Enjoy mini-slides, lazy river, and kiddie pool at Park23 Entertainment.
Tip: Buy family tickets online early; use provided tubes and lockers.
Beachfront Balinese Dance:
Watch traditional Kecak performances on the sand at sunset.
Tip: Arrive 15 minutes early and bring a light cover for evening breeze.

A legendary must visit beach in Bali for all types of tourist. Great view, some affordable food merchant available, and if you want to scale up a little bit you can visit some fancy restos or cafes available along the street.

It wass allright, despite the small pieces of garbage that you can see from place to place. Based on the stories from the other tourists I expected to be worse but I went swim and nothing happened. The worst thing that I have to mention is that I saw prety many tourists that were throwing trash and disrespected the nature so ... learn to respect the places you go and the locals.

Great place to sit down and enjoy the amazing sunset, with an ice-cold bottle of Bintang beer. Visited in April 2025.

Decent place to grab a drink and e joy the sunset. Local people trying to sell you stuff are constant and at times incessant. Recommend you go the Dewa bar warung, the guy took great pics of us and it has lovely views of the beach

A great place to watch the sunset. We visited here one evening to see the sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. The view is perfect for capturing stunning sunset photos and time-lapse videos. The beach itself is also fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. The soft sand and gentle waves make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty around you. It's a great place to unwind...
