Goa Gajah is a beautiful place to visit — walking around, learning about its history, and hearing the story behind it was very enjoyable. The entrance carving is impressive and makes for stunning photos. However, I was a little disappointed that the inside of the cave (the ‘mouth’) is actually very small, around 20 m², once used by true meditators in the past. I had expected something larger. It was a fantastic experience. The entire setting is beautiful. You're in nature with lovely flowers, bridges, and even a waterfall inside. It's not crowded. Make sure to wear good shoes. It's well worth a visit.

🛕 Goa Gajah - A Peaceful Temple Experience Beyond the Cave 🌿 We really enjoyed our visit to Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave and found it to be a peaceful and culturally rich stop in Bali. The entrance fee is 50,000 IDR, and it includes a free sarong rental, which is required to enter the temple area. No need to buy one from the many shops outside, even though some sellers may try to c...

The temple itself and the Elephant Cave are fascinating to explore, and the surrounding rice fields, cliffs, and small waterfalls make the visit worthwhile. There’s a special atmosphere here that you feel as soon as you enter. Unfortunately, i...
